DR. GREGG E. KAMNETZ,O.D.

Dr. Kamnetz completed his undergraduate work at Valparaiso University in Indiana. He went on to optometry school at Indiana University. Since that point, Dr. Kamnetz has accumulated over 25 years of experience as an optometrist in Austin, Texas. After spending nearly 15 years at the Texas State Optical in Barton Creek Mall, Dr. Kamnetz decided to relocate his practice to the Westlake/Rollingwood area in 2007. Dr. Kamnetz is known in the optical community for his high standards in the field and his high degree of customer service. Dr Kamnetz is on the TSO Board of Directors and is a current member of the Texas Optometric Association.

Shelley Poirrier, O.D.

Dr. Poirrier is a native of Louisiana. She went High School in Plaquemine, Louisiana. She went on to attend LSU in Baton Rouge where she obtained a degree in Zoology in 1996. Dr. Poririer has lived in Austin since completing her graduate work at The University of Houston College of Optometry in 2000. Her husband Wally is also an Optometrist. She enjoys crafting, reading, hiking,kayaking and playing with her young son.

Mr. Stefan Czelusta

Stefan has served in the optical industry for 10 years. He started as an optician for Dr. Samit's Hour Eyes in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. What initially started as a part time job for income while attendance at George Mason University quickly became a viable career path. Stefan left Virginia for Texas in 1999 and joined Dr. Kamnetz's staff shortly thereafter. The two shared very like minded visions when it came to practice management and shortly thereafter Stefan became the General Manager for the practice.

Stefan believes what seperates this practice from the rest is the ability to offer services and products with a significant attention to the details. We provide superior customer service and are able to address the needs of patient's individually.

Mr. Elton Hall

Elton has been the stalwart member of the staff at Dr. Kamnetz's practice. He has been at this location for upwards of a decade assisting patients like few others can.

As a manager Elton defines what it means to be in the customer service industry. He knows what it takes to make the patient happy. His personal touch and his easy going demeanor will keep our new patient's coming back year after year.

Mr. Joe Abeel

Joe Abeel is a transplant from that west Texas paradise known as El Paso.

One of Joe's best qualities is his frankness. Joe will let you know what frames look good and which one's don't without blinking an eye. It is that type of honesty that endears clients to him. They know that they will leave wearing a pair of glasses that suits them.

Joe also proves to be very diligent in getting the job done. No stone is left unturn when it comes to satisfying a client.

Ms. Kristen Rodgers

Coming to Austin to further her education at the University of Texas, Kristin joined the TSO team in March of 2010. She has proven herself to be a dedicated employee and is great to have around the office.

Ms. Melissa Alexander

Melissa is our newest employee. However, she is quickly learning the ropes and exceeding all expectations. She has become a great resource for insurance related questions. She keeps the office lighthearted while at the same time showing a great work ethic.

Ms. Erika Jusino

Erika is one of our most valued employees. So much so that we brought her back for a second tour of duty after she completed her bachelors degree at The University of Texas at Arlington. Erika is the light of our office, gretting all who walk through the door with her infectious smile. Behind the scenes, Erika is the great "Delegator of Duties" making sure all tasks are done efficiently and on time.

Mr. Nabeel Siddiqui

Originally from Houston, Nabeel came to Austin to study at the University Of Texas. He is currently studying Public Health, and in hopes of becoming a doctor of medicine. He truly enjoys learning about the optometric profession as well as assisting our patients to his utmost capability. When Nabeel is not a the office, you can find him online participating in fantasy sports.

Mr. Stephen Lopez

Stephen is a transplant from the west Texas town of El Paso. He has worked with the office since the summer of 2011. He is currently in Austin to study Pre-Law at the University Of Texas.Stephen is a rapid learner and is quick to help our patients. When he is not at school or at work, he can be found cheering for the Cowboys.
